How to download and unzip a font file
When you see a font you want to use, click on the "Download" button, save the zip file somewhere on your computer, go to the place where it is saved, right-click on the zip file and click the "Extract To" option.
How to install a font in Windows

Windows 10/8/7/Vista
Right-click on the font file and choose Install. Or, double-click on a font file to open the font preview and select Install.

Windows XP
Open fonts folder, Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Themes > Fonts
Click "File" menu, select "Install New Font..."
Browse font you want to install, click OK

Windows any version
Copy and paste the font file directly into the Fonts folder, usually C:\Windows\Fonts or C:\WINNT\Fonts
How to install a font in Mac OS

Mac OS X 10.3 and later (using FontBook)
Double-click the font file > "Install font" button at the bottom of the preview.

Mac OS X any version
Copy and paste font files into /Library/Fonts (for all users), or into /Users/USER_NAME/Library/Fonts (for single user).
How to install a font in Linux

Linux Ubuntu
Double-click on a font file to open the font preview, and click "Install Font" button.

Linux any Versions
Open /home directory
From the menu select View > Show Hidden Files, look for ".fonts" folder (create one if not already exists)
Copy and paste the font file into ".fonts" folder
Font license and usage restrictions
The fonts available on Fontsum are the intellectual property of their respective designers. Please check the read-me files bundled with the downloaded zip archive or check the indicated designer's website for licensing details. That determines either a font:

Free for commercial use
You can use them in projects where you might earn revenue. This could include business websites, advertising campaigns, product packaging, and more. But in most cases font designer still retains the copyright, means you are not allowed to sell the font files itself or claim that font as yours.
